DONALD LEE "DONNIE" MILLER
Donald Lee "Donnie" Miller, 69, Silver Lake, formerly of Solomon, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004.

Mr. Miller was born March 15, 1935, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of George W. and Phyllis Miller. He was a salesman for Century United Co., Topeka, for 20 years.

On May 27, 1954 Donnie joined the Air Force and served his country for the next two years. He was united in marriage to Jo Ann Fussell on May 19, 1966 in Columbus, Georgia and she survives.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Melinda Jernigan and Cheryl Miller; a son, Dennis Miller; three grandchildren Michael Parks, Ryan Parks, and Russell Miller, Jr.; and three brothers, Jerry, Jimmy and Patrick Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Jo of the home; five sons, Richard of St. Joseph, Mo., Robert and Randy, both of Atchison, Russell of Missouri and Ronald of New York City; seven daughters, Donna Gould of Mulvane, Debbie Windholz and Joni Parks, both of Salina, Cindy Hanson of Silver Lake, Angela Brumbaugh of Ada, Jacqueline Holeman of Chapman and Jennifer Boswell of Wamego; four brothers, Mike, Danny and Phillip, all of Salina, and Elmer of Stockton, Mo.; five sisters, Lana Weberg and Shirley Jensen, both of Salina, Jane Jaimes of Overland Park, Pam Williams of Atchison and Dorotha Trouslot of Newton; 35 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carlson-Ford-Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 500 S. Ohio, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Prairie Mound Cemetery, Solomon.

Memorials may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka 66606.

Visitation will be today from 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
