Catholic Funeral Services for Non-Catholics

I am not a religious person but my wife is very active in the Catholic church. She is very concerned that when I die, she won't know what to do with me. She tells me that because I don't belong to the Catholic church, they won't hold a service for me. If that is truly the case, what other options do I have?

Very good question. We have found that when a spouse is not Catholic and the other spouse is that it is up to the priest to decide if the non Catholic can have a church service. But if not, the priest would come to the mortuary and perform the service. - Jerrit Clayton, cfsb
