Eulogy Guidelines

Are there guidelines or formats in preparing a eulogy?

Not necessarily, the funeral service should be an expression of the person's life, as we are all unique individuals one might agree that all the funeral services would vary equally.

The important thing is that you do what you want not what you feel is required. Typically a eulogy is an opportunity to talk about someone's life. Often there is humor in a eulogy it is a time to remember the good times and establish fond memories that we can keep. I hope this helps. --Jon Roeder
