Do Cemeteries Have to Submit a Map to a Government Body?

Do cemeteries have to submit a map showing locations of plots to a government body?

I am not aware of any law that requires cemeteries to submit maps to a government body or regulatory agency. All cemeteries should have a map showing where each person is buried and who owns the various burial spaces. These maps are generally made available for public inspection, especially if the cemetery is owned and/or operated by a municipality or township. If you would like to see a plot map, just ask the cemetery caretaker or sexton if he/she can assist you. I think in most cases they would be glad to let you look at the records.
