| | | Ethel Nellie Gut, 87, Rothschild, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at her home.
Ethel was born December 6, 1919. She married John A. Gut in September 1945. He preceded her in death April of 1991.
Ethel helped on the farm, in the town of Ringle for 40 years and volunteered for the Dime & Dollar for 16 years. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ringle, and Mary Martha Society. She mostly enjoyed her family, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for them and making pies.
Survivors include two sons, John (Susan) Gut, Jr., Kronenwetter; and Roger(Beverly) Gut, Weston; three grandchildren, Justin Gut, Otsego, Mich.; Kyle (Katie) Gut, Monroe, Mich.; and Kayte Gut, Houston, Texas; and one great-grandchild,Reese, Monroe, Mich. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, John, three brothers, and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2007, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ringle, with Rev. Walter Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at the Forestville Cemetery, Ringle. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, and will continue from 10 a.m. Friday, until the time of services at the church.
