| | | Ronald D. Consolver Sr., 65, of Weston, died peacefully on September 13, 2007 in the presence of his wife, family members, and his closest friend, at the Golden Living Center Riverview of Tomahawk.
Ronald was born Oct. 28, 1941, to the late Lawrence and Evelyn (Boarts) Consolver in Des Moines, Iowa. He married Sandy Steffey, she survives.
He served in the U.S. Army for two terms. Ronald enjoyed working on classic and newer model cars with his friend Gary and his sons. Ronald was employed by Weyerhaeuser for over 35 years, was a member of the Local Union USWA #319 of Rothschild.
Left to cherish memories with heavy hearts are his surviving wife Sandy, Weston; and children; Cynthia (David) Veselak, Ronald W. (Lynn) Consolver Jr., Kelly (Roxanne) Consolver, Shannon Consolver, and stepchildren, Jeffrey Darrin and Troy (Heidi) Darrin; eleven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and very close friend Gary Pilny.
A Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2007, at the Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield. Pastor Ross Nelsen of Tomahawk will officiate. Family will welcome friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center Riverview of Tomahawk, Dr. Johnston of Kronenwetter Clinic, and Dr. Cortes for the incredible care and compassion given by all.
