| | | Elayne Marie Deragon, 58, Schofield, died Friday, May 2, 2008.
She was born Sept. 10, 1949, in Bayfield to the late Joseph and Mildred (Cadotte) Deragon.
Her grandchildren were the love of her life along with her children and family.
She is survived by Pete Sam; her daughter, Jessica (Troy) Deal, Reedsburg; her son, Steven Gandy, Green Bay;and three grandchildren, Olivia Marie Deal, Joseph Everett Deal and Abigail Rae Gandy. She is also survived by three sisters, Mary (Patrick) Schloemer, Weston, Arlene (Bill) Henry, Orangevale, Calif., and Marlene (Tom Prosser) Engstrom, Weston; brother-in-law, Jack Rude; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gloria Rude.
The funeral Mass will be at noon Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, 948 Grand Ave., Schofield, where there will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will be again from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
