| | | Rita Laffin, 66, Tomahawk, died Saturday June 14, 2008, at Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston.
She was born March 13, 1942, to the late Ellis and Gertrude (DeBour) Barber.
She married Forrest Laffin on Jan. 27, 1963, in Aledo, Ill. He survives. She is also survived by four sons, Tim (Carol) Barber, Florida, James Laffin, Wausau. Kenny (Jaime Londerville) Laffin, Weston, and Jack (Sabrina) Steele, Wausau; one daughter, Rikki (Rick) Abt, Rothschild; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Saint Clare's Hospital third floor and hospice staff for their loving care during her stay.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Peace United Church of Christ, 1530 Grand Ave., Schofield. Visitation will begins at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at the church.
Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Mom's memory.
