Thomas E. Hyland, 67,Iola, died May 27, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center.
He was born in New York to the late Henry and Peg (Frost) Hyland. He was married to Gailene Knop in Charleston, S.C. on April 14, 1978.
Thomas served as a Senior Chief aboard a carrier in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was Past Commander of Iola VFW Post 9748 and worked at the Iola Car Show for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing with his friend, Charlie.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Pamela Molodik, Iola; Cathrien (Russell) Moore, Gainsville, FL.; and one grandson, Samuel Hyland.
Sevices and burial will be at Central Wis Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, assisted the family with arrangements.
