Eva Haas, 82, Town of Ringle, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitaion Center in Weston.
She was born in New York State on August 3, 1923, to the late Paul and Nina (Mitchell) Stone. She was married to Joseph Haas, who preceded her in death.
Eva served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and went back to college to receive her degree in nursing. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at USC Medical Center in Los Angeles before her retirement.
She is survived by one son, James Haas, Benicia, CA.; one daughter, Kathleen (Kevin) Mocharnuk, Valencia, CA.; two sisters, Elizabeth Burns, Hatley, Peggy (Thomas) Grupp, Tonawanda, N.Y.; one brother, Ret. Col. Carroll (Debra) Stone, Dover, DE.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date in Valencia, CA. There will be no local services.
Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, assisted the family with arrangements.
