| | | Glendene M. Bloczynski, 86, Rothschild, died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
Glendene was born July 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Handrick) Kurtzweil. She married Raymond Bloczynski on May 1, 1946 in Halder at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1981.
Glendene was a cook for the Log Cabin Restaurant until the age of 79 years. Other than working, she enjoyed activities which included, reading, watching movies, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her children and grand-children.
Survivors include her children; three sons, Bruce (Mary Jo)Bloczynski, Florence, SC., William (Kathy)Bloczynski, Rib Mt; Brian (Robin)Bloczynski, Wauwatosa; two daughters, Victoria (Tom) Mudrovich,and Janet Hills both of Wausau; eight grandchildren, James and Emily Bloczynski, Patrick Hills, Andrea Mudrovich, Kevin and Denise Bloczynski, Karen Schneider, and Jenny McKinney; one great-grandchild, Cole McKinney. One brother, Norbert (Betty) Kurtzweil, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and one sister, Mildred Wenzel, Wausau. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Allan and one son, Randall.
A funeral Mass will be at noon, Tuesday,February 20, 2007, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan Slowiak will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at the church. Burial to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter.
The Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, assisted the family with the arrangements
