Gailene Hyland, 76, died May 4, 2007, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King.
She was born May 21, 1930, in Indiana to the late John and Carroll (Love) Knop. She was married to Thomas E. Hyland in Charleston, S.C. on April 14, 1978. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2006.
Gailene was a member of Iola's VFW, an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was a self-employed upholsterer prior to retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Mlodik, Iola; Cathrien (Russell) Moore, Gainsville, FL.; and one grandson, Samuel Hyland. Gailene will be deeply missed by her good friend,Geri Cleaver.
Services and burial will be at Central Wis Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield,assisted the family with arrangements.
