| | | Clarence W. Kurth, 75, Wausau, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
Clarence was born July, 29, 1931, the son of the late Walter and Anna (Steinbach)Kurth. He married Jeanette Paszkiewicz on May 8,1954,in Rothschild.
He served in the Korean Conflict as a U.S. Marine. Clarence was very proud to be a Marine. He worked as a cement contractor for Slivicke and Kurth for over 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette, Wausau; three daughters, Deborah (James) Kleman, Hatley, Yvonne (Edwin) Wilkowski, Mosinee, and Diane Hoppa, Wausau; six grandchild, James (Loretta) Kleman, Loyd Buchkowski, Denise (Dave) Spatz, Brenda (Shawn)Krause, Jill Buchkowski, and Jeremy Kleman; three great-grandchildren, Jodi Kleman, Mitchell Krause, and Zachery Gajda; one sister, Bertha Beck; one brother, Bob (Evelyn) Kurth, Ringle.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Anna, one brother Lawrence Kurth.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan Slowiak will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Kleman, Jr., Loyd Buchkowski, Jeremy Kleman, Chris Beck, Robert Janikowski, and David Spatz. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, where there will be a prayer vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow at the Forestville Cemetery.
