| | | Mary A. Winnie, 67, Weston, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
She was born Dec. 4, 1940, to the late Walter and Evelyn (Kazmier) Marquardt. Mary graduated from Newman High School.She was married to Duane Winnie on May 21, 1958, in Stillwater, Minn.
She was a homemaker and loved flowers, flea markets, antique markets, cooking and spending time with her granddaughter Hailey Rae.
Mary is survived by her husband, Duane; one daughter, Lisa (Walt) Winnie-Grulkowski, Mosinee; one son, David (Lynn Magnin) Winnie, Schofield; a granddaughter, Hailey Rae Winnie, Mosinee; five brothers, Robert (Margie)Marquardt, Richard (Marlis) Marquardt, Gary Marquardt, all of Schofield, Danny (Sue) Marquardt, Wausau, Donald (Bertha) Marquardt, Chicago; seven sisters, Joanie Ninnemann, Wausau, Collette (Brian) Braun, Ringle, Yvonne (Larry) Ridgeway, Wausau, Sharon (Ray) Weinkauf, Merrill, Rita (Manuel) Floors, Chicago, Pam (Larry) Marquardt, Rothschild, and Donna (Jesse) Floors, Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rex; a daughter. Suzette; and a brother, Jimmy.
A Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2008, at Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield. Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wausau. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday, July 20, and again from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services Monday, all at the funeral home.
