James “Jim” P. Rhyner, 51, Wausau, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born to the late Raymond and Jean (Dailey) Rhyner in Wausau.
Jim enjoyed playing polkas, golfing, reading, and spending time with his family, especially with his grandson Lucas.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Jim is survived by his mother Jean (Dailey) Rhyner; son Jason Rhyner, Weston; daughter Rebecca “Becki” Rhyner, Schofield; mother of his children Cheryl Rhyner, Rib Falls; brother John (Kim) Rhyner Wausau; niece Melissa Rhyner and nephew Matthew Rhyner, both of Wausau; grandson Lucas, Schofield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 13, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, and again one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church.
