Cecilia Kozlowski, 85, Schofield, died on May 18, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on September 27, 1923 to the late August and Mary (Mader) Weisser in Wausau.
Cecilia worked at Marathon Rubber Plant, Wausau, before her marriage to Joseph Kozlowski on November 10, 1945 in Wausau. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1993.
Cecilia loved going out to eat with her family. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, gardening, and raising her chickens. She was a generous and loving person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include 3 children, Donald Kozlowski, Merrill, Karen (Frank) Trzebiatowski, Hatley and Gary (Sandy ) Kozlowski, Weston; three sisters Hedwig Yaeger, Weston, Emma (Dale) Lamphear, Montana Margaret (Mike) Artus, FL., and; seven grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one soon to arrive.; and one sister-in-law Theresa Sowinski, Wausau.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 siblings (in the earlier years); one sister Rita Habeck; and three sisters-in-law Jennie Mucha, Bernice Halkowski and Celia Koppa.
A special thank you to Aspirus Cancer Center, Dr. Rezazadeh and his nurses Renee and Val for their compassionate care for Cecilia.
Mass will be held 5pm Friday May 22, 2009 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 2pm until the time of mass.
