| | | Paul J. Blick, 57, Weston, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Paul was born July 22, 1952, to Eugene and Josephine Blick in Appleton. He worked for Cequent Trailer Products in Mosinee.
He was married to Kathy Mrotek on July 21, 1979, in Park Falls. They happily resided in Weston where they raised their children. Paul enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and trap with his son. Paul also loved his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister- and brother-in-law, Ardeth and Herb Jent; and his great-niece, Erial Esterl.
Paul is survived by his wife, Kathy Blick, Schofield; son, James (Ashley Borrows) Blick, Weston; daughter, Traci Jo (Chris Robinson) Blick, Weston; two sisters, Kathleen (John) Hughes, Rothschild, and Donna (Raymond) Delrow, Schofield; two brothers, David (Nadine) Blick, Weston, and Michael (Brenda) Blick, Shawano; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Bob) Richards, Franklin, and Marilyn (Damian) Grabish, Cloquet, Minn.; two brothers-in-law, Dale (Shirley) Mrotek, Park Falls, and Melvin (Marge) Mrotek, Oak Creek; grandchildren, Maddox and Sophie; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 602 Military Road, Rothschild, with the Rev. Al Slowiak officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Tuesday at the church.
Hayden-Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
