David W. Scherer, 51, Schofield, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Betty Scherer, Oshkosh; sister, Diana (Kenneth) Abhold, Eden, Wis.; and two nieces. Private services will be at a later date. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society, Schofield, is assisting family with arrangements.
