| Verona L. Boettcher age 91 of Chilton died on November 14, 2007 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born June 9, 1916 in the Town of Rantoul daughter of the late Hermann and Minnie (Goldschmidt) Luedtke. She married Arthur Boettcher on October 19, 1935 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. Verona farmed in the Town of Chilton and was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid. Her husband preceded her in death on January 23, 1981. Verona is survived by her children: Wyman (Jeanette) Boettcher of Crivitz, Shirley Bartel of Chilton, and Arlene (Lyle) Roehrig of Valders; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Arvie (Myra) Boettcher of Chilton and Elroy (Virginia) Boettcher of Brillion; sister-in-law: Alma Schweitzer; and many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Gordy Bartel and 2 great-grandchildren Ethan Roehrig and Isaac Vanden Heuvel. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton with the Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at church from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 17, 2007 when services will be held. | ||
