  VIEW/SEND CONDOLENCES

Lillian K. Boll, 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2009 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein. She was born June 18, 1914 in the town of Rantoul to Henry and Nellie (Sorenson) Dreier. Nellie passed away when Lillian was 8 years old due to a fire. When starting school Lillian spoke only German which she credited to her grandmother. After graduating from 8th grade, she stayed home to care for her siblings. On October 8, 1935 Lillian married Norman Boll at St. Martin-Charlestown. They farmed in the town on Charlestown until 1957. Then they purchased Boll's Midway Bar in Hayton from Norman's parents. They owned the business for 35 years until Norman passed away in 1993. Also, from 1959 to 1976 Lillian worked at Tecumseh. For the past 15 years she resided at Stanton Place until May 2009. There Lillian enjoyed leading exercise classes and helping others. Lillian was a lady of character and integrity. She loved the word of God, read it daily and lifted many people in prayer. Her faith was her strength, comfort, and peace. Lillian loved meeting new people and always had stories to share about her family. Her family was held dearest to her heart. She loved spending time with them and was a devoted mother. She spoke fondly of others, loved little children and was known by them as Grandma Boll. Lillian was loved by all who knew her. Survivors include her children: Bob (Shirley) Boll of Chilton, Evelyn (Mike) Maus of Suamico, Ruth (Ken) Luchterhand of Chilton, Audrey (Richard) Schmidt of Chilton, and John (Lucy) Boll of Chilton; grandchildren: Gary Boll of Chilton, Dan (Kris) Boll of Chilton, Sandy (Kevin) Marx of Chilton, Michelle (Jeff) Mulloy of Green Bay, Sheila (Dave) Bartol of Darboy, Craig Maus of DePere, Julie (Terry) Hanson of DePere, and Troy (Renae) Luchterhand of Chilton; great-grandchildren: Lily & Emily Boll, Brandon, Alexis, Autumn, & Addison Marx, Ashley, Justin, & Jordan Mulloy, Madison, Mason, & Mitchell Bartol, Owen Hanson, Christopher Luchterhand, and Hunter Foress; step great-grandchildren: Dylan & Cole Hanson, and Cody Denzel; she is further survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman in 1993; daughter, Ronelda Ann; son, Richard; great-granddaughter, Ashley; brother, Marcus "Mike" (Emma) Dreier; sisters, Gertrude (Dale) Ploeckelmann and Ruth (Milton) Loose; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Magdalene (Anton) Buhl, Erwin (Ermina) Boll, and Victor (Louise) Boll. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Faith Alliance Church in Chilton with the Rev. Jim Jensen officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W Main St., Chilton) on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:30 PM and on Saturday at church from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
