| Delphine G. Basler, age 94, of Chilton died on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born December 25, 1914 in Kloten, daughter of the late Anton & Mary (Wettstein) Nadler. She married John G. Basler at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton in 1935. The couple farmed together in the Town of Chilton. Delphine was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton. Survivors include her children: Marlene (Dave) Hemauer of Appleton, Leroy (Sandy) Basler of Charlesburg, Dennis Basler of Chilton; a daughter-in-law: Patricia Basler of Chilton; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Kathryn Joas, Rosalie Heiberger, Marie Friel; and 2 sisters-in-law: Elsie & Dorothy Nadler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son: John N. Basler. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2009. | ||
