Betty M. Brown, age 79, of Chilton died on Monday, October 26, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born May 20, 1930, daughter of the late Emil & Florence (Harrison) Ninedorf. Betty married Keith C. Brown on October 11, 1947 in Chilton; he preceded her in death on May 25, 2009. Earlier in her life, she had worked for the Foley Co. in Chilton. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton and enjoyed reading, crocheting, artwork, and her favorite pastime, crossword puzzles. Keith was the love of her life and she spent a lot of time with him on many of his adventures and painting the wood carvings he made. Her children will always remember her as a fantastic mom who was a beautiful seamstress that kept the children dressed in hand made clothes. Survivors include her children: David (Belinda) Brown of Chilton, Wendy (Bob) Schommer of Forrest Junction, Kathy Schroeder & Steve Waskow of Brillion, Shari Techlin of Neenah; 12 grandchildren: Alan, Carrie, Evan, Erin, Keli, Holly, Amber, Jordan, Christopher, Joshua, Elizabeth, & Nathaniel; 8 great grandchildren: Ariel, Macquel, Zen, Siena, Hayley, Hannah, Lucy, Jeantelle; a brother: Eugene (Bernice) Ninedorf of Chilton; and a brother-in-law: Ralph Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Keith; a great grandchild: Kirsten; a sister: Lola Owen; 2 infant brothers; and 3 half brothers. Funeral service will be at 4:30 PM on Friday, October 30, 2009 at St. Martin Lutheran Church (717 Memorial Dr) in Chilton with the Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. A time of visiting will be held immediately after the funeral service.
