| Erna Baldock went to her eternal rest on Mon. May 3, 2004 at the Chilton Care Center, at the age of 95. She was born on July 23, 1908 in Cream City, Fond du Lac County, daughter of Edward & Ida (Schaefer) Baldock. She attended Chilton Public High School, and worked as a cook for the Chilton School System for many years. Following her retirement she worked as a school crossing guard for many years. She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, where she taught Kindergarten Sunday School for many years. Erna was active in the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include a son, Jack (Joan) Baldock of Chilton; 3 granddaughters, Debbie (Mike) Riley of Green Bay, Paula (Pat) Freund of Fond du Lac, Laura Baldock and Terry Fournier of Neenah; a grandson-in-law, Kevin (Sondra) Elwell of Vacaville, CA; 4 great grandchildren, Kerrie Elwell of Vacaville, CA, Brandon Freund of Fond du Lac, and Kristopher & Kaitlyn Fournier of Neenah. She is also survived by very close friends, Clem & Marge Kasper, their son Mike (Rindi) Kasper, and their children Chad, Kevin, & Tara, all of Chilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Hanford Baldock, and a granddaughter Carla Elwell. Funeral services will be at 3 PM on Thur. May 6, 2004 at Ebenezer UCC, with the Rev. Kathy Kahl officiating. Cremation will follow services with burial of her remains in the Hillside Cemetery in Chilton. Friends may call at the church (44 W. Washington St.) in Chilton from 11 AM on Thur. until the time of services. Wieting Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. | ||
