| | | Eunice M. Birkholtz, age 80, of 533 Water St. Chilton died on Tuesday June 8, 2004 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was born on November 23, 1923 in the Town of Stockbridge daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Funk) Hostettler. She married Alfred R. Birkholtz on January 31, 1945 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1982. She and her husband farmed in the town of Stockbridge and after her husband’s death she moved to Chilton in 1982, she also worked as a cook for Heller’s Hall in Brant for 17 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge and after moving to Chilton became a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. She enjoyed bingo, red dice, cherry machines, fishing, and of course her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 3 daughters; Bonnie Weber of Chilton, Phyllis (James) Geiser of Chilton, Cheryl (Ray “Toby”) Kramer of Freedom, a step-son; Gerald Birkholtz of Appleton, 3 grandchildren; Rick (Mary Jo) Weber of Chilton, Shelly Geiser and fiancé Dale Schreiber of Kiel, Jason Geiser and fiancé Beth Bohman of Brillion, 6 great-grandchildren; David and Sarah Weber, Jamie and Kendra Geiser, Rachel Bohman, and Jacob Schreiber, 2 sisters; Ruth Wagner of Racine, and Alice Heller of Chilton. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; David Weber and Amy Geiser, 3 sisters; Delphine Ruffing, Dorothy Hermans, and Esther Halbach, and 3 brothers; Robert, Clarence, and Conrad Hostettler. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday June 14, 2004 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Al Geiser officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St., Chilton, from 4 to 8 PM on Sunday and again on Monday at the Church from 10 AM until the time of service. A parish prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home.
