| Ruby Lee Bailey, age 93, of Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah, formerly of Appleton, died on Thur, Sept. 23, 2004 at the Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah. She was born on July 24, 1911 in Hornersville, MO, daughter of the late William & Anna (Huggins) Chamberlain. She married Howard Bailey on June 3, 1929 in MO; he preceded her in death on June 29, 1982. Ruby was a homemaker for her husband and 5 children. She enjoyed sewing and traveling, but most of all she loved mothering her children and grandchildren and the many family activities. Survivors include 2 sons, Don (Mary) Bailey of Neenah, Michael (Sue) Bailey of Viroqua; a daughter-in-law, Carol Bailey of New York; a son-in-law, Don Waldvogel of Hilbert; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Margie Pingel, Jeris Waldvogel; a son Jerry Bailey; a sister Verna, and a brother Tommy. Funeral Services will be at 7 PM on Mon. Sept. 27, 2004 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton, with the Rev. Kathy Kahl officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Oconto. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 PM on Mon. until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established for the Ebenezer Bell Choir in the name of Ruby Bailey.
