| Arno J. “Pete” Bruckner age 74 of 30 Spring St. in Chilton died on Tuesday October 26, 2004 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born February 13, 1930 in Chilton, son of the late George & Margaret (Basler) Bruckner. Arno married Yvonne J. Jensen on May 20, 1950 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton. Pete was a talented carpentry contractor until retiring in 1995. He joined the Chilton Volunteer Fire Department in 1953. In 1979, Pete became the Fire Chief and held that position until his retirement from the fire department in 1993. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, but most of all, loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife: Yvonne; 4 children: Mike (Lynn) Bruckner of Chilton, Shelly (Mike) Gudex of Chilton, Susan (Tom) Zinkel of Chilton, Roxanne (Joe) Keuler of Chilton; 13 grandchildren: Tricia, Shannon, David, & Michelle Bruckner, Tanya (Randy) Pingel, Kelly (Justin) Casperson, Russel Gudex, Sarah & Abby Zinkel, Aaron Bruckner, Cassie, Katie, & Kallie Keuler; 3 great grandchildren: Macey & Sydney Pingel, Courtney Mallmann; 1 sister: Margaret Bonk of Milwaukee; and 3 brothers: Robert Bruckner of Milwaukee, George “Bugger” (Joan) Bruckner, and Don (Charlotte) Bruckner of Tampa, FL. Arno is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Lorraine Woelfel & Alice Schwartz; and a brother: Alfred “Fritz” Bruckner. Funeral Services will be at 6:30 PM on Saturday October 30, 2004 at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Jim Jensen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 – 6:30 PM on Saturday October 30, 2004 when services will be held. | ||
