| Florence M. Arenz age 89 of Chilton died on Saturday January 6, 2007 at her home. She was born June 1, 1917 in the Town of Chilton daughter of the late Jacob & Margaret (Propson) Veit. Florence married Sylvester Arenz on April 22, 1941 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1994. Florence was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and the Chilton Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, playing Sheepshead, and belonged to several card clubs throughout the area. Survivors include her children: Arlene (Ben) Meier of Chilton, Karen (Gerald) Damgard of Northfield, MN, Ken (Arleen) Arenz of Chilton; 6 grandchildren: Steve (Debra) Meier of Chilton, Linda (William) Jensen of Shawano, Kevin Damgard of Northfield, MN, Kelley (Tim) Jaeger of Waterford, Amy (Joe) Molfese of Darien, IL, Jenny Arenz of San Francisco, CA; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law: Marie Heimann of Chilton, Hilda Veit of Sheboygan; and a brother-in-law: Ervin (Betty) Arenz of Chilton. Florence was also preceded in death by 2 twin sons: Dennis & Daniel Arenz; and 3 brothers: Clarence, Jerome & Donald Veit. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday January 11, 2007 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 1:00 until 5:30 PM on Thursday January 11, 2007 when family prayers will be held. The rosary will be prayed Thursday afternoon at 2:30 PM. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Florence M. Arenz. | ||
