| Irene F. Bendickson age 93, of Chilton, formerly of Racine, died on Friday February 2, 2007 at the Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein. She was born December 21, 1913 in Chicago, IL daughter of the late Frank & Anna (Hajek) Snyder. She married Magnus B. Bendickson on November 7, 1936. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1981. During her life, Irene worked as a seamstress in Chicago and Racine. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton and a former active member of Bethania Lutheran Church in Racine. Survivors include her children: Diane Bendickson of Chilton, Roy (Beverly) Bendickson of Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren: Leslie Bendickson of Cudahy, Marcus (Gail) Klaeser of Neenah, Christopher (Camela) Klaeser of Barneveld, Matthew (Monica) Klaeser of Appleton; and 3 great-grandchildren: Melissa, Amanda & Annika Klaeser. Irene was also preceded in death by a son: Norman Bendickson; and a sister: Marie Glasser. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday February 13, 2007 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton with the Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery in Racine. Friends may call at the church from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday February 13, 2007 when services will be held. Wieting Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. | ||
