| Esther E. Boll age 92 of Charlesburg died on Sunday March 25, 2007 at the Villa Loretto Nursing Home in Mt. Calvary. She was born August 9, 1914 in Charlesburg daughter of the late Anton & Anna (Mahlberg) Daun. She married Glenroy G. Boll on June 20, 1939 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. Farming was a large part of her life. She farmed side by side with her husband in the Town of Brothertown for over 30 years. He preceded her in death in May of 1984. Esther was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Charles, the Christian Mothers, and the Catholic Knights. When she was younger, she enjoyed dancing. Throughout her life, she still enjoyed going up north fishing, gardening, taking quiet walks through nature, taking drives through the countryside, and canning fruits and vegetables. Most of all she loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children, going on short vacations and enjoying each others company. Esther was always available to help her children or care for her grandchildren or great-grandchildren when there was the need of a trustworthy babysitter. Survivors include her 4 children: Dennis (Barbara) Boll of Chilton, Annette (Richard) Jacque of West Bend, Franklyn (Joan) Boll of Cottage Grove, Eileen (Bill) Isajiw of Chilton; 14 grandchildren: Steven (Karen) Boll, Daniel (Anna) Boll, Nancy (Brian) Boll-Price, Susan (Wayne) Freund, Sharon (Matt) Emerich, Douglas Boll, Heather Boll, Tammy Ruh and Fiancé Tom Mertens, Kelly (Dave) Gromacki, Kristin (Matt) Bowen, Alicia Boll, Tara Boll, Amy Hephner & Jesse Hephner; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law: Marie and Veronica. Esther was also preceded in death by a grandchild: Linda Boll; 3 sisters: Viola Schaefer, Sally Breit, & Alma Feldner; and 2 brothers: Hugo Daun & Roland Daun. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Friday March 30, 2007 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4-8:00 PM on Thursday March 29, 2007 and on Friday at the funeral home from 9-11:00 AM when family prayers will be held. A parish vigil service will be at 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
